My name is Paulina Wasiak, and I am the Founder and leading Reiki practitioner here at Reiki2Day. Please let me share with you a bit about my background and my journey. I was born in Warsaw, Poland. My life choices brought me to London, UK, and for the past 15 years, I have been living there. This is the place where my professional and spiritual journey expanded to the next level. On the professional level, I have more than 18 years of Digital Marketing experience across more than 10 different industries. I am also the Founder & CEO of DMalip (London based Digital Marketing Agency focused on a human-to-human approach, H2H) and the Job Search Journal author. I know – that’s a lot, but I always wanted to learn and experience different environments, although most people have been saying to me this is not a good strategy for my career. I have decided to follow my inner truth, not their advice, and it made me professionally fulfilled and successful (whatever success means to us). On the spiritual side, since I remember when I was still living in Poland, I felt like I was almost “not from this planet” as I could feel and see so many things around us that most people were not able to experience it. At that time, no one could understand my psychic abilities. It also felt very unnatural to me that we as human beings are subjected to so many different rules and regulations, which I did not understand, and no one was even able to explain to me why we are here and what our purpose is on this planet, as for me, we are much more than just going to work or school. My personality trait is always to follow my inner voice and be true to myself above it all (like a “black sheep”). This journey was not easy, but meaningful to me. After that, I decided to move to London, where I started deepening my spiritual path as I felt that it was the right thing to question everything and everyone around me. But most importantly, I have started questioning myself, firstly, by questioning my beliefs, choices, and behaviors, while thinking about where all of them are leading me to. I realized after some time that one of my biggest dreams was to visit the Himalayas solo, but this was also one of my biggest fears, to face this challenge, as I did not know what to expect. After this realization, I decided to face my fear and bought a plane ticket to Kathmandu in Nepal, from where I started my magical journey. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to experience proper trekking through the Annapurna mountain range, but I did not know how my mind and body would react to high altitude sickness. I also felt deep fear of failure. Despite all of that, I said yes once again and went high in the mountains solo to face my fears. I experienced an amazing journey through the Himalayas, where I was faced to deal with my emotional and physical struggles. After I had successfully finished my trekking, I went to the city of Pokhara for a healing singing ball meditation class, where I was blessed to experience the biggest until that time out-of-body (OBE) experience which changed the way I perceive my life. During this meditative state, I felt like my soul left my body, and I was somewhere in the cosmic space like a black hole, and I could feel like I was no one, nowhere, but connected with everything and everyone around me. I was also happy to be part of this beautiful video recorded by the VMAG team, Mapping Nepal, you can find it here, (11:25, it’s me). This was a very meaningful yet transformative, and personal experience to me, and after I came back to London, I decided to study more of what I had experienced in Nepal. Also, I felt a need to incorporate what I have experienced while staying in a Buddhist monastery in Kathmandu. I decided to finish the courses on Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projections in one of the Buddhist temples in London. Since then, I have been practicing this almost daily for more than 6 years now. You will probably ask, but wait, Paulina, why are you telling us about your Himalayas journey, Astral Travel, and Lucid Dreaming experience? The reason why I am sharing this with you today is that all those experiences brought me closer to my Reiki journey. During one of my out-of-body experiences, it was shared with me that I should learn more about Reiki and help some people on their healing path. At first, I did not know much about Reiki, but it felt to me that the Universe wanted me to do something about that. All of that brought me to my Reiki journey, which officially started in the beautiful spring of 2021. I followed the inner guidance, finished the Reiki courses in London (first and second degree), and started practicing Reiki. During my Distant Reiki sessions, I apply different knowledge and wisdom that I have gathered from different sources over the years for the best benefit of the people and animals with whom I work with. What is also important, I can only offer my Reiki sessions to those with whom I will resonate on an energetic level. And there is a reason for that as well.
